Guitar - Both Acoustic and Electric and Electric Bass
8 years old is the earliest we recommend for guitar lessons. Guitar playing requires a fair amount of pressure on the fingertips from pressing on the strings. Children under 8 generally have small hands and may find playing uncomfortable. Bass guitar students generally are 10 years old and older.
Tuition: $140 per installment due 5th of each month.
Tuition is based on a 36 week school year divided into 9 equal payments. The 1st payment at enrollment & Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr & May 5th of each month.
Mike Edmondson—Teacher
Mike has been an active performer throughout the northwest since 2000. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Music/guitar performance from Central Washington University and a Master’s Degree in Music/guitar performance from the University of Idaho. He has studied with many of the top classical guitarists in the region including Michael Partington (UW), James Reid (Idaho), James Durkee(CWU), and Paul Grove(Gonzaga). Not limited to the classical realm, he has studied jazz improvisation with notable northwest jazz men including Frank Seeberger and Vern Sielert and has performed in many big band and combo settings throughout the northwest. For the past several years, Mike has been teaching guitar for the Pasco School District. We are thrilled that he is back with Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet and Music
