We are very proud to continue that tradition by providing a preschool which offers a unique opportunity for young children to develop and learn. Tri-Cities Academy of Ballet and Music Performing Arts Preschool incorporates academics with performing arts to create the ultimate educational experience. Children learn and grow quickly by using their creativity, movement, and learning together. Our program provides developmentally appropriate activities in dance, music, and academics which promote the social and emotional growth of children, as well as preparing them for their future academic endeavors. The school day schedule includes large and small group interactions (circle time/group time) which help the children learn to cooperate, listen, and share. Each day they will have an opportunity to participate in self-selected activities; independent work time which stimulates cognitive growth and creativity as well as emotional and social development; dance and music instruction which stimulate creativity, rhythm, and small and large motor skills; and indoor/outdoor activities which also help develop large and small motor skills. Our positive atmosphere and well rounded program helps children to build their self esteem, enjoy learning, and promote the social, physical, intellectual, and emotional growth of each child
Our afternoon PreK program is for 4 and 5 year olds. This program includes our Preballet/Tap program, Music for Little Mozarts curriculum, as well as daily academic and social skill activities which will focus on Kindergarten readiness. |
